Project description

Comprehensive development of the Yuzhny district in Mineralnye Vody will create opportunities for the city's intensive urban development.

It will enable construction of 1,290,000m2 of housing and 1,750,000m2 of social and cultural facilities on an area of 450 hectares.  

The comprehensive development will make it possible to provide housing for 42,000 citizens in the Yuzhny District.

The project involves building 5 schools for 6,000 students, and 6 kindergartens each for 250 children.

Territorial zoning is envisioned as part of the project. The territory is divided into a public and business zone (51 hectares) and a public and sports zone (32 hectares). Residential neighborhoods are located in-between.

Unique features of the project

The project is coordinated with the priority national project "Accessible and Comfortable Housing for Russian Citizens" and will facilitate resettlement of the population from buildings unfit for dwelling or old buildings.
