The project is implemented as part of the governmental program titled "Creation of High-Technology Parks in the Russian Federation" that provides for federal budget funding of technopark projects.
The technopark will chiefly specialize in innovations in the oil & gas sector, including all elements of the process chain. It will also work in such promising areas as new materials and technologies in construction, power industry and environmental protection.

Unique features of the project

The site is in the immediate vicinity of the city center, occupying an area of 75 hectares. The project team is currently preparing design estimates and performing land development of the site.

Brief positioning of project

Construction of industrial park on a lot near lake Alebashevo situated in immediate proximity from city center (area: 75 ha). On its area, modern research-and-production cases will be erected, and the territory is allocated for development of large industrial hi-tech production. The industrial park will include: • office center • business incubator; • production area; • center for demonstration and testing of the newest technique and technology; • lots for site development by anchor residents; • lots for residential construction; • information centre, laboratory center, test production center, etc. Supporting business infrastructure will included a full range of services for support of innovation process. In the organizational plan, the industrial park will include commercial and noncommercial elements. In order to attract financing to the innovative projects realized within the industrial park, Tyumen Region, jointly the Ministry of Economy and Development of the Russian Federation, realizes the project on creation regional venture fund. Main idea of the project: creation within territory of the Region of effective mechanism of support of innovative business at the expense of budgetary and private investments by creating an investment venture module. The project of creation of the industrial park has high budgetary efficiency and will have huge significance in achievement of the strategic purposes of development of the country, the region and the city. Existing project risks get minimized, the use of the world’s best practice and flexible approach to development of the industrial park, in view of local features. The planned volume of investments into the project is 7.5 billion rubles. Investment sources: Federal budget, Tyumen region budget< private investor’s funds.
