The project objective is creation of a competitive all-season resort and tourist center satisfying the needs of tourists of Perm Territory and adjacent regions within the territory of Kizel District of Perm Territory. Features of the complex: number of rooms: 5,000 for 10,000 guests, number of mountain-skiing pistes: 60, concurrent accommodation up to 25,000 persons. Mt. Oslyanka is a unique place for hosting a center of that kind for several reasons: 1) Ecologically clean place; 2) Rich surrounding nature (flora and fauna); 3) Ability to provide a wide range of tourist services in summer and during the inter-season period (more than 30 sorts of leisure time activities and sports); 4) Presence of a river what simplifies construction of snow and water supply system; 5) Altitude of the complex is comfortable for human health (250 to 1119 m); 6) Big elevation changes (over 600 m); 7) Duration of winter season is 8 months from October to May, with good natural snow; 8) The mountain has a form of a ridge what allows to increase considerably the area for accommodation of pistes (up to 60 pistes); 9) Significant human resources in city of Kizel and adjacent territories; 10) Absence of such serious natural risks as avalanche danger; 11) Still growing need of Russian citizens for healthy way of life and sharp increase of active rest and sports fans.
