In 2012, the Russkiy Island (Vladivostok) will be the venue of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit. Russia is an APEC member since 1997.  
The following facilities will be built for the Summit:
• Summit business center;
• hotel complex;
• complex of the Far-Eastern Federal University;
• oceanarium;
• gaming zone;
• exhibition complexes;
• tourist and recreation facilities;
• hi-tech medical center;
• transport and logistics complex;
• transport infrastructure (including two bridges);
• utility services infrastructure.

Unique features of the project

Federal budget funding will be provided to build all the required infrastructure, including two bridge crossings. This creates unique conditions for investor participation in the project.
