Brief positioning of project
The S. T. Richter Cultural Center which includes the Concert Hall, a hotel complex, and a children's art school, is meant for being visited both of Tarusa visitors and local residents. The art of intonation, harmonic dictation, melodic intervals, tonality, rhythm, and — finally — the sound wave became the basis of art image of the building of S. T. Richter Cultural Center in Tarusa. Smooth lines and curves, overflowing spaces, changing perspectives, fill in — just like music — the surrounding space, emphasizing beauty of the nature and forming a whole entity with it. So emerges the architectonic image of the Cultural Center — a low three-floored building of a free, soft form — laconically and commensurably fitting into an environment of the city, both natural and architectural. The closed ring form of the building emphasizes locality of the structure, while the aula with through passes, in turn, renders the center as much possibly exposed. Such type of interaction of the building and the internal exposed space allow to accommodate within territory of the Cultural Center an amphitheater and a summer stand, and a skating rink in winter. The complex is functionally divided into concert hall areas, the 4* and 3 * hotels, the sports center, schools and the administration. The designed spatial organization of these areas allows using each of the listed functions independently from each other.
