Project description
|
The purpose of the project is to create a unique regional center in Vologda for sports, recreation, entertainment, and trade, applying state-of-the-art European technologies of leisure and service provision. The total construction area will be 170,000 sq.m. The complex includes an entertainment center covering 9,000 sq.m, work on which commenced in September 2007, a 16-storey business-center and 110-room hotel, water park, spa salon, ice dome as well as a shopping and entertainment center in which a six-screen movie theater and a food-court will be housed. Major works will be completed in 2008.

Unique features of the project
|
The complex is located on the south-eastern city outskirts, near the Vologda – Moscow federal highway and can be used for official city events as well as a reception point for visitors of the region, who travel to the home of Father Frost, the city of Velikiy Ustyug.
