Yuryevets is one of the oldest cities of Ivanovo Region included as an ancient city into the list of historical cities of Russia. Unique natural landscapes and wide rivers attract fans of active rest, fishing and hunting. Asafovy Gory islands are the most promising site for construction of tourist facilities. Currently, construction of a yacht club with filling station for small and medium vessels is underway in Yuryevets. A ski lift is being erected in the city center for mounting skiing fans. All this will considerably increase the tourist traffic and ensur profitability of the planned project.
