As the 1st stage of Zaovrazhye project implementation, it is planned to erect Green Quarter village in a uniform architectonic style, but with a free internal planning of houses. The master plan of Green Quarter provides a number of similar site development types so that apartments and houses there could be purchased by people from similar social groups. There are about ten houses projects offered for site development which may be the base for architects to create different variants according to client’s wishes. Therefore, a common style will be preserved during construction of houses corresponding to tastes and financial capacities of clients. The community plan provides a protected fenced area, high-speed Internet access, digital TV, as well as shops, cafés, playgrounds and sports fields, and its own pond with a boat station. House designs are developed specially for Green Quarter in view of climatic and landscape features of Kaluga Region. The basic type of buildings are cottages, there is also a line of townhouses.
