Knight Frank invites its partners and clients to participate in MIPIM, the biggest annual event in the sphere of international real estate investing. This year MIPIM will take place on March 11-14, in Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France for the seventeenth time.
According to Jeremy Oates, Knight Frank Russia and CIS Managing Director, “MIPIM’s success is evident and it is vital for Knight Frank, operating throughout the world, to participate in this key international forum. Investment and development companies’ top management, who are the real estate market key players, will meet to discuss business in Cannes, France. This time Knight Frank Russia and CIS clients - development companies such as Midland Development, Grand Land, MosÑityGroup, Mercury Development - will have their own stands and represent the biggest commercial real estate projects there. Knight Frank works on concepts with these and other projects and implements them, consults with these companies on marketing issues according to the international standards. Knight Frank clients’ participation in MIPIM exhibition proves development projects’ significance and readiness to be represented in the real estate global market.”
This time Knight Frank will be extensively represented at MIPIM. Apart from business meetings at Knight Frank stand in the “Harbour Village” pavilion, Evgeniy Semenov and Jeremy Oates, Knight Frank Russia and CIS experts, will make a report about development in Russian regions.
The Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade alongside with Knight Frank Russia and CIS will arrange a
“Financing of Investment Projects in Russia” session in the “Russian Regions” pavilion on March 11 at 1 p.m. Evgeniy Semenov, Director of Capital Markets, Knight Frank, will hold the debate. Consultants, Investors, Developers and Lawyers, the Russian market key players, will discuss the following market burning questions: investment risk assessment, the impact of the world crisis of liquidity on the Russian regions, separate economic areas’ development and others.
At 4 – 5.30 p.m. Managing Director Jeremy Oates will conduct the
“Western service with Russian hospitality” panel discussion, devoted to the development of the hotel business in Russia. Within the framework of the session he will present an analytical report on Russian hotel market, written by Knight Frank Russia and CIS Research Department.
This year the corporate Knight Frank Café’s address is the same as previously: 72 Croiset Street. Knight Frank specialists will have business meetings and communicate with the company’s patrons in a friendly atmosphere there.

The number of Russian companies, willing to participate in MIPIM, increases each year. That is why MIPIM organizers will arrange a special MIPIM Horizons forum. It will take place on December 2 - 4, 2008, in Cannes for the first time. It is meant for the dynamically developing real estate markets and investors, interested in collaboration and participation in different projects in these markets. From year to year real estate market specialists attend MIPIM more with business purposes - it is one of the instruments of investment creation and projects promotion.”
